A lot of customers ask for suggestions about ways to store more items in smaller units. So we have decided to publish a few of our favorite family tips that we often share with our customers. Firstly, we would like to mention size of units. Always plan for more space than you need today. Just because you had a couple of things that didn't fit into the new house doesn't mean you won't need more room later. Our storage unit sizes are typically in increments of 5 foot by 10 foo...t spaces. Which means we offer 5x10, 10x10, 10x15, 10x20, and 10x25 as our most common sizes. 5x10 is about the size of a pick up truck bed for reference. You can easily fit two rooms of furniture in a 5x10 space. So if you have a 3 bedroom house, you have probably 5 rooms of furniture (3 bedrooms, living room, and dining room). Which means you would want a 10x15 unit for a little extra space. Please give us a call so we can help you figure out what space suits you best at our convenient locations.
