Not closing the homeless shelter

Are you or someone you know struggling with addictions and/or other hurts, hang ups and habits? Greater Hope Homeless Shelter will start hosting a Celebrate Re...covery every Sunday at 5 PM beginning August 2nd. We will try provide something to eat at the start of each meeting. Please share and spread the word to our friends and neighbors in our community that need a safe place to heal and be freed from these chains! Although this shelter is run with a lot of love, it cannot run on love alone. We need help! Here are the top 3 ways (plus a bonus) in July, you can help. 1. Outside Drainage Issue - The water pours in from the side of the building. A retaining wall and/or some grading work is needed to divert water that is coming into the sleeping quarters at the shelter. 2. Ceiling Installer - We are looking for someone to help install ceilings in a room. 3. Cleaning & Hygiene Supplies - We ...are in need of cleaning supplies and bathroom supplies. (Paper towels, disinfectants, toilette paper, sanitizers etc.) To offer assistance for construction please contact Sarah Connerly directly at the shelter at 601-248-7182 or message us on Facebook. We wanted to thank everyone who played a part in this event. Together we were able to raise $266.25 for Greater Hope Homeless Shelter. Sarah (shelters owner), looked so happy and was so grateful about that $266.25, all because she could afford the wood now to fix the ceiling in the bedroom area.
