I hosted and helped judge my first shed dog event this weekend with my new club, North Mississippi Shed Dog Association. Though the weather wasn’t great and my ...dogs had some time outs, I still had a great time! I’d like to thank everyone who came and especially the judges, planters, and Mid-South Shed Dog Association for helping me with this event. Without their help, this event and club wouldn’t have been possible! Tine achieved his Working Shed Dog (WSD) title on Saturday and Boone earned another champion and master pass on Sunday. Boone & Tine had fun running Mid-South Shed Dog Association’s Nashda 2021 World Qualifier Only this morning. Boone earned his third master pass and Tine earned two more junior passes. Thanks for putting on a great event!

Update: Zelda has found her new home Started Chesapeake Bay Retriever JSH Northernedge & K&D’s Legend of Zelda ... Zelda is a 3 yr old, started, shed and waterfowl retriever. She is running at a UKC champion shed dog level, a NASHDA senior level, and an HRC seasoned level. She has been through obedience, collar conditioning, force fetch, force to pile, t work, water force, swim by, and shed dog training. She is a small Chesapeake at 21 inches and 40lbs. She has a calm, loyal temperament and a medium drive. She is UTD on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. She is AKC & UKC registered. She has found several wild sheds/deadheads and loves to shed hunt. She has 90/100 points toward her CHSD title. She also has two UKC working shed dog passes, five NASHDA senior passes, and two HRC started passes. She would make someone a great hunting and sport dog. Unfortunately, she has triangular cataracts that are hereditary. According to the ophthalmologist, these cataracts should not progress and she will be fine as a hunting and sport dog. She is available to an indoor home only. She does not do well in a kennel environment and I will be picky on who she goes to. She is good with other dogs and cats, but has not been around children.
