Congratulations to Emma Harrell and Abby Grace Lewis for earning a high superior at Bach Festival today! Congrats to Emma for also earning her 5 year superior medal today! Good practice pays off!
Abby Grace is a 7th grade student who does it all! Dance team , softball (she's pitcher!), and piano! Often times, she is coming from, or on her way, to a dance or softball game when she comes to piano- and guess what- she is ALWAYS prepared! She singlehandedly erased the "I was too busy to practice" plea from the playing field!... She will be playing Minuet in d minor at Bach Festival and her teacher is thrilled the stars aligned for her to make it amidst a busy, softball season!
A little reading and rote today with Lawson, who is in his 5th month of piano study. He found and printed an edition of "7 Years" at home and asked if he could learn it today. He had it hands together by the end of the lesson.
