Lake closures: Butler and Gillard lakes are currently closed. Salt Lake is OPEN. You can access Wood duck Lane from the ATV trail. All lakes be closed this weekend for waterfowl/duck hunting.

St. Catherine Creek Primitive Firearm Hunt dates: Jan 2 - 10 Either sex/One deer per day Waterfowl/Duck Hunting days: Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday... ***Fluorescent Orange*** During the refuge deer primitive weapon season and youth deer firearm hunts, all hunters on the refuge, except waterfowl hunters, must wear in full view a minimum of 500 square inches of solid, unbroken fluorescent orange garment and a fluorescent orange cap at all times.
