With staff located in multiple offices throughout Mississippi, MER has been working on behalf of our clients across Mississippi and the surrounding region for 20 years. MER is proud to be a WTS Mississippi Founding Partner. Throughout our history as a company, women have been essential members of the MER team, and we recognize the vital role women play in the transportation industry and in all engineering disciplines. Mendrop Engineering has provided a full array of Hydraulic, Hydrologic, and River Engineering services to its clients. MER recently provided updated modeling and dam breach modeling for the Ross Barnett Reservoir and Pearl River Valley Water Supply District. This modeling was presented at the Mississippi Engineering Society Winter Conference in February 2020.

If you haven't visited the Batesville Mounds yet you are surely missing out. The Mounds are a part of the Mississippi Department of Archives & History Mississippi Mound Trail. Currently, work is underway to expand the almost 2 miles of existing trail. We are excited about this addition and future plans for the Batesville Mounds! Thanks to the Boy Scout Troop 478 who has built 3 Eagle Scout projects here including a bridge, benches, and an information hub. Thank you to the City of Batesville, Mississippi Federal Highway Administration Recreational Trails Program (RTP) and Mississippi Wildlife, Fisheries, & Parks Foundation for allowing Mendrop Engineering to be a part of this development.
