Real Talk Time... As many of you know, life has been extremely hard for my family this year. 2020 was a disaster in itself, then this year we were thrown a horrible curveball. I've spent the better part of 9 years giving my all to this store, always putting it first and having very little time for myself, family and loved ones. I've always tried to be in the store and available to my customers as much as I possibly can. And it's time to take a break... How can I be my very b...est self to each of my fabulous customers if I'm not taking care of myself, and filling my "cup of joy" up?? Exhaustion is not the status I wish to achieve. Our core values have always been and continue to be to make everything beautiful and to make each of you feel loved, welcomed, and more beautiful. We want to be a place that FILLS you up as well! I cannot do that if my tank is not full. So this summer we are slowing down the pace. I will be out of the store more on Wednesdays and some Fridays and Saturdays. We have two fantastic Merle Girls that will take care of you! They are newer, and still learning, and there's a LOT to learn, so please be kind and patient with them. I thank you all from the very bottom of my heart for being so supportive during last year's pandemic, and all the personal family things this year. I've always said, my customers are the BEST customers of any store in town. It makes my heart so happy to be able to help you and bring a little piece of joy to your life. I thank you for understanding my need to take this small step. I understand your time is equally as valuable, and we will continue to offer our convenient shopping options: curbside or instore pickup and online shopping. Life is far to fast and precious. We have to take time to slow down and enjoy all of the little things, because one day those little things won't be here anymore.
