MVRDLS is well-represented by Dr. Lanny Pace and Dr. Alejandro Banda!! Mississippi State University is working in the woods and in the laboratory to protect the state's deer population from Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD). Both Dr. Pace and Dr. Banda are leading the MVRDLS in efforts to help identify CWD and protect Mississippi wildlife. For more, see the attached picture (Mississippi Landmarks, July 2019).
