We are planning a Kids Event for July 30 (6 - 8 pm) with crafts and learning about God's Love and a Fun Day on July 31 (9am to 3 pm) with water slides and food.... Everyone is invited but let us know soon if you and your children can attend. We want everyone that can come to feel welcome. Let us know so we can be well prepared. What a great God we serve? He does so much for us. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit three in purpose, in power, and plan for our lives. Let us look to Him continually for every need and every decision we make. He is rich in grace and mercy to us. Let us not seek gratification but to honor our Lord. Let us forsake the past and live in the Spirit and power of Jesus and His Cross. In Christ. Amen

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ: As we continue Holy Week let us look to the Scriptures as our guide; (John wrote of Mary Magdalene going early to tomb on the first day of the week and seeth the stone taken away.) She found an empty tomb and ran back to tell Simon Peter and John. It seems that the least expected event had taken place. The tomb was empty and Jesus' body was missing. In their fear and morning they never expected that Jesus had arose. When Peter and ...John reached the tomb they saw the grave cloths laying just as if Jesus' body was removed without disturbing the grave clothes. Mary Magdalene returns to the tomb and saw two angels sitting in the tomb. They asked her why she was weeping and when she turned away she saw Jesus but did not know Him. She thought he was the gardener. When he spoke her name she immediately knew it was the Master. She knew when Jesus said her name. We that believe in Christ likewise should know Jesus when he speaks to us. None of the first witnesses of the resurrected Christ recognized Him. He had to reveal himself as he still does. When we hear the voice let us not doubt, let us not put off his Word to us, let us heed His voice and go as he directs us.
