The support Children’s Heart Center (CHC) receives from its patients’ families and friends is truly unmatched, and the Vowells are no exception!! We at Children’s Heart Center are so grateful to families like Melody and Craig Vowell, who continue to support the work we do year over year. For a number of years now, the Vowells have hosted a Courage Dash, in memory of their son and former patient of the Heart Center, in an effort to raise and donate money to the Heart Center. I...n a year where Covid-19 forced the cancellation or postponement of many like events, the Vowells chose to become creative and forge ahead. Friends, family and supporters of the CHC rallied during Congenital Heart Awareness Week, chose their path and distance, and left their virtual mark with a chalk or spray-painted representing the end of their journey! Despite the challenges we all faced this past year, the Vowell’s were determined!! We could not be more thankful for families like YOU!!!! Thank you for your unwavering support! See more
