I’ve alway heard wives tales about how to tell if one is gonna be a bucker, as an unbucked weanling. I’m sure y’all have all heard plenty too. But me personally, I’ve seen one determining factor with my calves...If they act like King Kong on mama’s side and a little tit in the weaning pen, they probably just taking up space at the feed trough. Funny how that applies to humans too!

That’s 23 Smooth n Juicey. She is a 2020 model heifer and I’d guess she’ll weigh 900-950 pounds. She’s gonna be a big ol cow. Seems like Real Smooth really throws the size into these calves....or I should start raising show steers
